according to the designer, "White Noise came from a desire to make a pattern that was subtle, mostly monochromatic and did not compete with the food. I wanted a pattern that could be used for everyday or a special occasion and was neither "he" nor "she"...just classic shapes that walk the line between sophisticated and playful."
