the fly is hand painted with fine lifelike details in enamel technique, exactly after old models from around 1800. the basic shape is a champagne tumbler taken from the legendary lobmeyr drinking set no.4 designed by ludwig lobmeyr in 1854. he found his inspiration also in the "biedermeier" period.
