designed by Richard Sapper with Alain Chapel, 1986. The sauteuse is made from thick copper for heat conduction, combined with a thin layer of stainless steel for hygiene and ease of cleaning. The sides are sloped to help mixing of ingedients. 8" diameter. 3" h 2 qt. Now available in two versions:
version 1 - the classic two-ply of thick copper coating with 18/10 stainless steel lining
version 2 - the new three-ply of AISI 430 steel coating, a thick layer of aluminium (excellent for heat distribution) and 18/10 stainless steel lining.
