lumiere, a timeless classic from the foscarini catalog, celebrated its twentieth anniversary in 2010. to commemorate this occasion, the designer rodolfo dordoni created the XXL and XXS versions. these table lamps are not just an addition to the original collection, but a parallel project. the form has changed to adapt to its enlarged dimensions – the tripod stand abandons its rounded shape and incorporates a stronger design, as does the diffuser. both features create new geometries for a lamp with a strong personality and refined elegance. in addition, the combination of crisp, elegant colors – a white or bronze stand to match with the blown glass black or white diffuser – help characterize this lamp’s bold design.
