“essentiel de pâtisserie”, composed of bowl “cul-de-poule”, whisk with two functions, spatula, and cake plate, offers indispensable tools to prepare and serve a beautiful cake.
the bowl “cul-de-poule” is made of a small bowl inserted inside a larger bowl. the small bowl is made for the beginning of a job when the quantity is little and doesn’t need to be dispersed in the larger space of the bowl. in this phase the bowl is inclined held with one hand while the other hand is free to work the ingredients. as well explained by matali crasset: «i started with a gesture, which consisted of tying the ingredients together, with the idea to conceive a global tool that would permit avoiding the dividing up of the operations. with two containers in one, there is no need to change the container. the complete act of mixing can be done in a single movement». the bowl “cul-de-poule” is made in stainless steel with a mirrored finish. a partial external covering is made of a silicone membrane.
