embody is herman miller’s new premium work chair which establishes a new reference point in ergonomic seating. the embody chair was designed by studio weber & associates over a period of 7 years, with a variety of 30 professionals contributing to the development of this ‘health positive’ chair. embody is good for your body since the frameless design & narrow back shape actively encourage freedom of movement through your arms, neck & shoulders – increasing circulation and oxygen flow which in turn promotes brain function.

embody works for 98% of users since it allows you to completely customize the fit for your body. the seat height adjusts between 16” and 20.5”; seat depth goes from 15” to 18”. the chair arms are also fully adjustable and move up to 6” both horizontally & vertically. the instinctive back design mimics the human spine and can also be customized for you – providing passive support to the sacral, lumbar, and thoracic regions of your back. the chair is warranted for use by persons 300 lbs. or less.
