the wavy’s seat back is an undulating, clear membrane of thermoformed polyethylene, suspended like a cocoon from the frame. the chair is reinterpreted to appear as light as fabric, as evanescent as a bubble, while it provides a comfortable, flexible seat.
an armless stacking chair, it has tubular steel base, with a black epoxy powder coat finish or stainless steel. the wavy's seat back is transparent red, grey or clear thermoformed polyethylene. the wavy chair can be stacked into stacks of up to 4 chairs tall. Since the wavy chair has a stainless steel base, it is suitable for outdoor use.
