zaha hadid is a contemporary and influential architect whose design work ranges from buildings to items for companies such as alessi & wmf. her work has won many awards, including being the first female recipient of the pritzker architecture prize, the architect’s equivalent to the nobel prize. zaha hadid created this new version of the crevasse vase to celebrate the first uk gala of women for women international, held in london in april 2008. the vase is made from stainless steel and gold finish is applied using the pvd technique. available in either mirror or satin finish. only 999 of the vases will be produced.
