produced by nobuho miya in iwate prefecture in japan. nambu (or nanbu) tetsu basically means nambu iron and is based on a tradition of fine cast iron work dating back to when the iwate prefecture was nambu- during the edo period (1603-1868).
miya is a third generation iron caster.
