designed in 1999 by sori yanagi, the nambu tekki iron pots are thicker to absorb and distribute heat evenly. the edges of the pans have a slight curve to them, allowing for easier pouring.
recipient of Japan's Good Design Award in 2001. like most cast iron items, special care must be taken to properly season the container and hand-wash only.
