yes… this consists of over 500 balloons wrapped, twisted, and tied to a solid wood stool. designer Natalie Kruch has a strong inclination for making the ordinary both intriguing and beautiful. the balloona stool is her first piece with umbra and she keeps us anxiously anticipating what clever design she will present next. please note that although this stool has a wood structure, the balloons are degradable and will experience some wear and tear depending on its usage. Even with that note, we feel that this is still an exceptional design piece well worth it!
