designed by johanna grawunder, negro e fluro is a watch with an orange & black face; item is discontinued & limited to stock on hand. johanna grawunder, originally from san diego, studied architecture at california polytechnic state university & finished by studying in florence her final year. in the early 1980’s, the memphis group was making waves in the design world, & its spirit and style lured grawunder to milan. she was given a job by memphis group founder ettore sottsass, and designs like a true italian. her intention is not to be aggressive or provocative, but as she says, ‘to produce work that is ironic & positive’.
