designed by aaron johnson for nambe, the dune collection continues the naturalist motifs found in much of the company's products. first produced in 2004, the series is made of nambe's alloy, which allows it to function from freezer to broiler to table- or just as a decorative object.

mr. johnson is a native new mexican and was educated in the southwest. his native area has had a profound effect on his designs. the recipient of design awards, his work is in the permanent collection of the chicago athenaeum.
nambe was founded in 1953 outside of santa fe, new mexico. primarily known for their eight metal alloy which retains temperature and can be used for baking and cooking as well as display and service, the company began designing crystal items in the 1990s.
