although wmf has expanded significantly since founded in germany in 1853, they were originally known for their production of tableware. since 1900 they have been one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of metalware – a result that speaks for the quality of their products.
this series was designed by Peter Bäurle, who has created over forty cutlery designs for wmf since 1980. according to Bäurle, "excluding is harder than cramming an abundance of details in a design." the details he does add to his designs, therefore, deserve special notice.
vision has received both the red dot and the good design award in 2005. it has a modern and funky design for the non-traditionalist in you. noted features are the material's thickness and length and the contemporary matte finish. in addition, the dinner knife is designed to rest with the blade either flat or standing upright.
