back in 1992 Royal Copenhagen launched the faience dinnerware series Ursula, designed by ceramist Ursula Munch-Petersen. the fertile functionalism, beautiful colours and unique design characterise Ursula. they reflect a wish to create a service, which exudes warmth and friendliness, "a service that brings pleasure to daily life", as Ursula Munch-Petersen says. it is precisely the everyday utensils which are closest to Ursula Munch-Petersen’s heart. the jug in itself is already a classic because of its unique design that is almost sculptural.
