royal copenhagen is a danish company that has been producing porcelain since 1775. it was founded as a result of experiments on hard porcelain done by Frantz Heinrich Mueller and funded through a partnership with the royal family until 1868 when the company passed into private ownership. royal copenhagen today is a producer of craftsmanship and design with a contemporary international profile, selling products that are both functional and collectible.

arnold krog was the visionary artistic director of the royal copenhagen porcelain manufactory between 1885 and 1916. not only did he redesign many dinnerware series, he also brought some new additions to our ever-growing product range, among them the white half lace dinnerware series. the white half lace design was originally created for the blue fluted half lace service. the fluted design was given an elegant lace border, creating a beautiful yet simple service.
