the face off cafe table was designed by frank gehry in 1992 for knoll. part of a collection of maple chairs also named after popular hockey terminology. they consist of ribbon-like designs inspired by the woven construction of apple crates. sculpted from interwoven white maple strips with a clear finish. top made of 1/2" thick tempered glass with polished edges. comes in either 36" or 40" sizes, and with the option of white laminate finish on the table top. ch 031308 (+2 images; description;)
