designed by the young italian maverick marco maran in 2000, this elegant plastic stacking chair is ideal for cafeterias and auditoriums or as an occasional chair.
the sturdy and flexible chair features a colored polypropylene frame that attaches to a chrome-plated base. arm and armless versions are available; the arm pads are standard in molded black polypropylene. a wide range of bright and neutral hues are offered for the shell. accessories include a tablet arm, a ganging mechanism and a transportation dolly.
marco maran is celebrated for designs that are light in spirit and flexible in application. trained as an architect and industrial designer, he has been the recipient of several design awards.
an optional seat pad is available for the armless chair and it is permanently attached to the seat; it is not able to be retro-fitted. gigi armless stacking chair with seat pad features a stacking bumper for protecting the material.
