the mosaic pen & business card case was designed by acme studios based on mosaic designs created by antonio gaudi with ceramic tiles. gaudi was born in reus, spain in 1852 and is considered one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. his collaborations with local artisans produced some of the most experimental and visually striking structures in spain. his overtly unorthodox homes, churches, furniture, & interiors reveal his intricate ability to utilize a wide variety of materials. some of his greatest accomplishments include: casa milá, güell park, & sagrada familia – a church reminiscent of the gothic tradition that was his final & most important project.
