richard sapper and alberto gozzi, a meeting of two great talents, produce designs with highly functional and aesthetic value.
the two designers created the meta-project “la cintura di orione” which in 1986 generated a sophisticated pots and pan set. today it has been extended by adding a complete set of kitchen knives.
these eight knives reflect a great deal of commitment and professional skill. they were designed not only for great chefs and the most demanding gourmets, but also – and above all – for general public.
all these knives have steel blades, the cook’s knife, the carving knife, the small cooks knife, the paring knife and the steak knife have forged steel blades, while the filling knife, the slicing knife and the bread knife have rolled blades with excellent flexibility.
the handles of all the knives are POM (a lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant thermoplastic, capable of operating in temperatures in excess 200 degrees Fahrenheit; it is often used as a metal alternative.), with a finger-protecting guard.
complex in their design and simple to use, these knives are presented with a knife block. the diagonal-cut shape immediately identifies it as “sapper oriented”
