amici del bambini = “friends of the children”

t-dream is a collection of t-shirts created by eight international designers to help amici del bambini, a network of orphanages and child abandonment advocates in asia and south America.

these shirts are more than just fashion statements, because proceeds from their sales benefit amici del bambini. buy one and you’re helping the 84 teenagers and children at the alma del niño home in bogota, Colombia, the 48 children at the Buddhist child home outside kathmandu and the 100 children at the san antonio institute of lima, peru. each of them has a dream waiting to come true. every t-dream shirt that you buy brings them closer to their dreams.

amici del bambini has been fighting child abandonment and for the rights of abandoned children since 1986. they believe that all children, no matter who they are or where they come from, have the right to a family, but even more to the right to their own identity, to childhood, to play… the fundamental right to have dreams and to continue believing in those dreams, even against all odds. t-dream shirts help to make those dreams come true, one at a time.
