anything that can’t stand a little redesign.
the soup tureen and thermo bowl both have cocoon-like shapes. besides looking good, the narrow top holds in the heat and helps keep your soup hot. and the thermo bowl goes one step further: it’s designed to stay cold on the outside. no more scalded fingers!

thermo bowl in black or white-glazed porcelain. tureen in bone china or in black or white-glazed porcelain. the tureen is dishwasher, oven and microwave oven safe, while the thermo bowl is dishwasher safe.

ego is the collaboration of michael bruun and steffen schmelling. both have known each other for over 15 years, and it shows. their designs are the product of bruun’s business sense and schmelling’s creativity pushing and pulling each other. this tension has already earned ego several red dot design awards and promises more and better from this company.
