za, designed by team of shin and tomoko azumi, is easily one of our favorite designs from lapalma. the system consists of three elements – two straight benches and a curved, 45-degree element, all the same height and depth – that you can combine into many different shapes: sinuous snakes, flying saucers, you name it. za blurs the line between art and furniture and makes you the artist.
