the halftone rollerball pen was designed by todd falkowsky for acme studios. he grew up in canada and after university chased a career in rally car racing. after being badly injured a year later, todd decided to enroll into canada’s premier industrial design program at the emily carr institute of art & design in vancouver. after three years he moved to holland to complete an architecture degree. while there, he started a skateboard company & had his first design go into production. during todd’s grad year, he went to new york to work at karim rashid, inc. next he moved to milan for post-graduate studies at the domus academy and worked as a senior designer at jerszy seymour design, inc. todd has recently relocated to toronto and is currently teaching at OCAD.
