this is one of klein/reid's more melancholy pieces: a set of keys, dropped or fallen out of a pocket and fetched up in a dark, mushroom-riddled hole. somewhere in this piece's world, doors are closed forever.
the detail on this piece is really astounding. you have to get up close to the mossy niche holding the keys to really appreciate it. even people who hate porcelain miniatures will have to appreciate the skill that went into making "keys".
