coltellerie berti was founded as an artisan workshop by david berti in 1895 and continues its handmade production in the tuscan countryside under the guidance of great grandson andrea. berti remains true to their tradition with each knife being the finished work of a sole artisan, baring their initials on the knife’s blade. berti's intent is to make knives with integrity and authenticity that cannot result from industrialized production, while offering you some of the finest cutting tools in the world. a berti knife is an heirloom you will surely want to pass down to your

clean knives after each use, hand washing them in warm water using a liquid dish soap. knives should never be left to air dry. dishwashing is not recommended. wood and horn handled knives require periodical maintenance using spare amounts of natural oils, such as olive oil applied to the handle with a soft cloth.
cheese knives have specially designed blades that are designed to slip through any kind of cheese without sticking. the berti line of cheese knives are made with natural boxwood handles and include:
