the violence of a tumultuous, swirling cyclone has been somehow colorfully captured and encased forever in a beautiful glass shell like a prehistoric insect in its futile attempt to escape as it becomes engulfed in an amber grave. vortice is available in amethyst and aquamarine colors.
for 25 years, simon moore has been designing and making glass objects of world-renowned quality. moore is strongly influenced by english and venetian manufacturing techniques and has taught glass and ceramic techniques at the royal college of art. he is currently the dartington crystal creative director.
