another colorful glass jewel by orfeo – at first glace, the ‘stonz’ necklace might resemble a polished stone or crystal you might see in a ‘new age’ gift shop. it gives every appearance of being a natural object.
smooth, rounded curves; deep, brilliant color hues, both transparent and opaque; and all the tiny little subtleties contained within the glass itself - the ‘stonz’ necklace may not be a natural object, but just calling it glass jewelry doesn’t seem right either. so maybe it’s something else – how about a ‘hyper-natural object’?

orfeo quagliata is the son of renowned glass artist narcissus quagliata and grew up on an artist commune in san francisco. today, he lives and works in mexico city where he produces these unique glass designs.
