and though it may be smaller, the attention to detail, the colors, the varied tones and opacities – it’s all the same. well, pretty much the same. as you probably know, because each one is made by hand, all of orfeo’s pieces are unique, and not one is exactly like the one before. so keep in mind, that size, shape, color, tone, and opacity varies.

orfeo quagliata is the son of renowned glass artist narcissus quagliata and grew up on an artist commune in san francisco. today, he lives and works in mexico city where he produces these unique glass designs.
