designed by paris-based arik levy, the mixed rug is part of a series of levy designs produced in germany.

levy's approach to rug design was fairly novel: instead of viewing a rug as a single entity arik viewed it as a series of parts that may be rearranged, allowing for the rug to have a more artistic role- while providing the user multiple options for decorating a space.
