the zande vase designed by david palterer in 1995.
zande gives the impression of a colorful, delicate flower atop a tall, slender stalk. it has a 1.1"dia. satin-finished 18/8 stainless steel holder with polished rods that the vase fits into. the rods extend up from the top of the vase almost appearing as if they are the stamen rising out of the flower waiting for birds or insects to carry away their pollen.
the vase itself is exquisitely blown murano glass created by skilled glassblowers and is available in a choice of amethyst, ink blue, red or acid green colors. zande is also signed by the designer.
