the adorno cabinet designed by pierre charpin in 2002.
the spirit of the '60s - the beatles had invaded the u.s., woodstock became a household name, the man on the moon was a televised event and doors made of stringed beads were commonplace.
here charpin re-creates the unforgettable charisma of the '60s with his numbered and signed adorno cabinet and its frontal curtain consisting of rows of tiny .31" thick in red, green and yellow glass balls. its honeycombed core structure is veneered in wengé-stained oak with the interior frame and shelved veneered in natural maple.
