designed by studio job for royal tichelaar makkum in 2006 and a highlight of the milan fair, the biscuit collection includes nine different plates and five centerpieces. the pieces are white bisque porcelain with reliefs based on allegory with fairy tail and fantasy figures. both sides of the plates are decorated.

royal tichelaar makkum is the oldest company in the netherlands, established in 1572. makkum is known not only for their delftware production, but for a number of projects with leading artist-designers, including marcel wanders, hella jongerius, and jurgen bey.
