designed by eva zeisel for acme studios, the talisman desk pen includes one rollerball pen and a white holder featuring the biomorphic design zeisel has been known for. born in 1906 in budapest, zeisel is a hungarian industrial designer known for her work with ceramics, primarily from the period after she immigrated to the united states. her forms are often abstractions of the natural world & human relationships. zeisel declares herself to be a ‘maker of useful things’, and work from throughout her prodigious career is included in important museum collections around the world. she currently resides in new york where she continues to design furniture as well as glass & ceramic objects.
