the comacina writing desk with storage unit designed by piero bottoni in 1930.
comacina is a simple and efficient design with an 18/8 tubular stainless steel frame. the top and storage unit are made of medium density fiberboard and finished with a choice of colors in scratch-resistant embossed paint. the desktop is also available with a stain-resistant cowhide 90 insert.
there are two versions of the storage unit available - one has a 3.94"h top drawer with an 11.81"h card index below it containing 10 card indexes. the other version has four 3.94"h drawers. the storage unit can rest on either the right or left side of the desk. the top drawer of both versions comes with a lock.
