the edge family of lamps were designed for artemide by alessandro mendini in 2005. intended for diffused fluorescent lighting, these lamps feature a cubic diffuser in opal white polypropylene. the wall/ceiling model features a concealed mounting plate in white polycarbonate and the suspension model features a white thermoplastic canopy with clear electrical cord and stainless steel support cable. these lamps mount to standard junction boxes and are UL listed. the edge 21 uses 1 x 20W fluorescent bulb and the edge 30 uses 1 x 23W fluorescent bulb.
