the planar recessed wall lamps from artemide were designed by eric solè in 1994. designed for direct and diffused incandescent or fluorescent lighting, these usefull lamps feature a diffuser that is made from molded, ribbed, clear polycarbonate, and a sturdy body and recessed housing of die-cast aluminum with a special corrosion resistant electrostatic polyester powder coating in black. this lamp is available in two sizes 7" x 7" or 7" x 13" and it is also available with or without an antiglare sheild. these models are fully gasketed, with hardware in stainless steel and are suitable for many concrete/masonry wall applications, ADA compliant and UL listed for wet locations.
