designed by ingo maurer, 2002, schlitz is a suspension lamp constructed of aluminum and glass. schlitz is 230 / 125 volts with 2 uplights and 3 downlights all consisting of 100 watt halogen R7s sockets. the uplights and downlights can be connected to separate switches. schlitz is suspended from two steel wires and comes with a white 117” cable. schlitz is designed for use in large rooms or projects. baden-baden solution is the larger version of schlitz.

schlitz up by ingo maurer
designed by ingo maurer, 2002, schlitz up is a ceiling lamp made for flush mounting into lowered ceilings. this smooth and seamless transition makes the Schlitz up appear to be molded into and a part of the ceiling. schlitz up is 230 / 125 / 12 volts, socket GU 5.3 and measures 37.05” x 17.94”. it has a built-in transformer and houses three 50W halogen bulbs. minimum installation depth is 5.85”. multi-mirror reflectors are mounted by means of ball joints, enabling the light to be adjusted to any required position. the inner surface can be lacquered in several different colors upon request.
