the pantarei ceiling/wall lamp was designed by ernesto gismondi in 1994 for artemide. this ceiling/wall surface mounted lamp produces reliable diffused fluorescent, halogen or incandescent lighting. the lamp comes in 3 sizes, the pantarei 190 (8"), 300 (12"), and 390 (15"). the body of this lamp is constructed of solid die-cast aluminum with a front concealed hinged diffuser for quick and easy bulb replacement. the lamp body is available in corrosion resistant electrostatic polyester powder coating in black or white, or a natural polished aluminum with clear polyurethane protective coating. the diffuser for this lamp is available in either sturdy, molded, sanded glass with external raised honeycomb pattern or injection molded impact resistant, opaline polycarbonate with internal honeycomb raised pattern. the polycarbonate diffuser is available for fluorescent light sources only. this lamp is wall/ceiling mountable to a standard 4" octagonal junction box centered on the lamp.
