piet houtenbos is a born and bred new yorker who earned his degree at RISD only a few years ago. since then he has honed his talents and developed an eye for design that is universal. his ability to generate fresh ideas comes from a strong will to understand everything from the big bang to why manhole covers are round. he believes that design shouldn't be done for its own sake but instead, piet wants to show people that just about anything has the potential to be better.
