the dimensions are mesmerizing: a slanted O-shaped ring of pure crystal reveals colored beveled edges depending on how it is worn. when the light hits these pendants, they appear clear, but the shaded portions of the glass appear very bright, almost as though they are lit from the inside. each pendant comes threaded on a high-quality ultrasuede cord that knots at the back. matching rings are also available with the same colorful, luminous qualities. these handcrafted pieces are designed by renowned craftsman orfeo quagliata, one of the leading producers of art glass today.

orfeo is the son of renowned glass artist narcissus quagliata. after spending time in austria with his grandmother herta jalkotzy, an award winning jewelry designer, orfeo apprenticed for 2 years in spain with josef fernandez-castrillo before moving to milan to work with the famed grimaldi watch family. now, quagliata lives and works in mexico city where he produces exceptional glass jewelry and objects.
