the tribal series is by jean-françois crochet for terzani. each of these ingenious lighting fixtures consists of a simple chrome-finish metal tube notched at both ends. the notches are covered with a sanded glass borosilicate diffuser, and light from the inside bulb shines through the notches in the metal. the effect is highly conceptual and quite majestic-- these pieces are destined to become 21st-century classics. available as wall sconces (in 2 different sizes) and a suspension lamp.
