no, not that merlin. the bird shape of this clock, by barbero design, suggests that it’s actually named after the merlin falcon (Falco columbarius). and the cuckoo’s about where the merlin’s mouth would be. my, but that’s a bit morbid.

tip top cuckoo clock for progetti srl
being a cuckoo's rough. you get locked up in a clock and only get to see daylight every 15 or 30 minutes. at least illa titov, the designer of the tip top clock, lets the cuckoo out occasionally; you can see his tracks on the clockface. the bird tracks nicely break up the wood face of this cuckoo clock.
