in his groundbreaking collection of 1957, eero saarinen transformed executive seating into a fluid, sculptural form. reintroduced by knoll, these comfortable office chairs are composed of a molded reinforced polyurethane shell with a contoured plywood seat form. base can come in either a 5-star steel base in protective black epoxy finish with hard wheel castors, or four legs made of seamless tubular steel with polished chrome finish. for the swivel chairs, the height can be adjusted by either a pneumatic or mechanical adjustment system. all chairs are available in a variety of fabrics and leathers.
