the bubble lamps were originally designed in 1947 by george nelson and produced by herman miller. modernica has reissued these lamps according to the original specifications and using the original herman miller tooling. the lotus floor lamp base is made of steel with a brushed chrome plated finish. a magnetic plate secures and centers the lotus lamp shade. the cord is length is 6 feet and is wired with a foot switch. the lamp shade is attached over the top of a harp and is secured on top with a metal finial. the lotus lamp is available in three sizes;
