enzo berti took functionality and combined it with artistic design cues when he created the hole series for lapalma. based around a curved plywood seating surface with a cutout in the back rest as the main focal point, enzo berti manipulated the form to accommodate multiple styles of seating. starting with a stackable chair that features a sandblasted stainless steel frame, the hole stackable chair then morphs into a stackable armchair that features curving cantilever-style arms with beautifully crafted plywood armrests. the chair can be stacked up to ten high, and the armchair can be stacked up to four high, allowing for convenient storage. the hole stools make up the remainder of the hole series, and are ideal for countertops or bars. available in two heights and multiple finishes, the hole stools continue the visual cues of the hole line with a lower back and a cut out in the back rest.
