"When we first brought in Holmegaard last month I was really intrigued by the new forms they were producing in glass. They have classic lighting by Vernor Panton and Piet Hein, but it was the newer forms, the Meantime Jars and Decanters that peaked my interest. When our shipment arrived from Denmark, I waded through the boxes, opening our floor samples to glimpse at design after design. I was impressed with Holmegaard's quality and the innovation of the Meantime series I had been waiting for. Then, I opened the beer glass. Call it nostalgia if you will, but the form of the glass felt so familiar that my mind instantly revisited the many bars, clubs and taverns I had visited while traveling throughout Denmark and the rest of Scandanavia. You see, I had a real good time in Scandanavia and holding that glass felt good too. Nostalgia? Maybe. But the fact is it's one hell of a glass. Cheers everybody!"
