by norberto moretti for salviati of italy.
vases, bud vases and bowls are completely free blown organic shapes narrowed down at the rim. each piece has been decorated with a gold frieze, following the technique of oro graffito. this technique consists of applying gold leaf onto the piece while it is still warm. after this application the gold is cut into small mosaic squares using a small copper tipped tool. pizzicati are available in venetian and oriental colours - olive, tea, orange and grey - which have been softened by a velato effect.
