the gt5 is a large suspended lampshade, available in orange, black or natural white. the cone-shaped frame is hand covered with a 1.18" wide ribbon woven with colored threads. this high quality system prevents fading and other types of wear and tear and produces a rich play of light. the lampshade is equipped with a disc that hides the bulb and produces two types of light: either light diffused by a translucent white fibre glass diffuser plate or light partially masked by an opaque black plate. when lit, the gt5 gives off a pleasant striated light. When off, it becomes a decorative element whose elegant lines and rich colours make it stand out in large spaces. opal diffuser - 16". this shade is also available as a floor lamp, the tripode.
