designed by eero saarinen in 1956 for knoll.

taking a purist approach to architecture and interior design, saarinen said of his chairs and tables, "I wanted to clear up the slum of legs". now considered mid-century classics, these tables are available in many configurations and are offered with white laminate tops as well as an array of marble and granite. bases are constructed of heavy molded cast aluminium that is strap-polished and coated in tough, abrasion resistant rilsan finish. please choose black, white or platinum base.

table top options:

• white laminate - 1.06" thick, beveled edge, satin-smooth
• coated marble - .75" thick, beveled edge, transparent polyester coating to resist stains
• natural marble - .75" thick, beveled edge, protective sealer
• natural granite - .75" thick, beveled edge, protective sealer
• pearwood - 1.06" thick, beveled edge

all tables ordered through 8/01/08 will carry a 50th anniversary medallion affixed to the underside of the top and will be accompanied by a commemorative certificiate of authenticity. note: top and base ship seperately. knoll logo stamped into base, tops have a nameplate with the designers signature.
